{"id":2845,"date":"2014-04-20T12:59:55","date_gmt":"2014-04-20T12:59:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.corporatediplomacy.com\/?p=2845"},"modified":"2014-04-20T12:59:55","modified_gmt":"2014-04-20T12:59:55","slug":"the-partnering-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.corporatediplomacy.com\/the-partnering-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"The Partnering Initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Partnering Initiative is dedicated to driving widespread, systematic and effective collaboration between civil society, government and companies towards a sustainable future.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have been supporting cross-sector and multi-stakeholder collaborations for over 20 years, promoting partnering standards and improving partnership innovation, reach and impact.<\/p>\n<p>TPI works with all sectors to promote and develop effective collaboration, providing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thepartneringinitiative.org\/w\/support-services\/\">organisational development services<\/a>, including strategic advice and partnership evaluation, as well as\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thepartneringinitiative.org\/w\/professional-development\/\">training and capacity building programmes<\/a>\u00a0which promote new standards of professional practice. Further we work at the\u00a0<a title=\"Learning &amp; Influence\" href=\"http:\/\/thepartneringinitiative.org.s109685.gridserver.com\/w\/learning-influence\/\">systems level<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 building the enabling environment and creating platforms to promote and support partnerships to deliver transformational change.<\/p>\n<p>We are committed to capturing our experiences of partnership and developing cutting-edge theory from all our programmes. We continually create and renew our practical tools, processes and approaches which support collaborations reaching their full potential. Our toolbooks, case studies and research papers promote new standards of partnering practice and build practitioners skills and knowledge around the world. These are available to download for free, through the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thepartneringinitiative.org\/w\/resources\/\">Resources<\/a>\u00a0section of this website.<\/p>\n<p>Wherever beneficial, we work in partnership with other organisations to help achieve the greatest impact.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2003 as a collaboration between the International Business Leaders Forum and the University of Cambridge Programme for Industry, and later run as a programme of IBLF, TPI became an independent, not-for-profit organisation in September 2013.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Partnering Initiative is dedicated to driving widespread, systematic and effective collaboration between civil society, government and companies towards a sustainable future.
